Private House, Woodbrook Park​

The clients had purchased a rundown three bed semi and wanted to make it suitable for modern living. Cobbe Architecture achieved the clients brief and accommodation requirements whilst adding the least amount of additional area. The reason for this was twofold firstly cost, but also sometimes the challenge is to make the existing space work better. The canted geometry of the zinc clad extension allows daylight to penetrate into the heart of the house and creates a bright airy living/kitchen space which belies its actual build area.
