Extension to a Private House, Foxrock

The project entailed a comprehensive transformation and thoughtful extension of a 1960s modernist residence situated within a mature, established sylvian neighbourhood. The architectural vision was guided by a deep respect for the original structure’s character and distinctive aesthetic, seamlessly integrating contemporary enhancements. This approach ensured the home was meticulously updated to accommodate the client's lifestyle, while preserving an understated elegance and exceptional quality throughout.

All interventions to the exterior where respectful of the existing form and materials. A core requirement of the brief was to dramatically improve the houses connection with the private rear garden this was achieved by the construction of rear pavilion like opening glass wall which allow a seamless transition between the inside and the exterior. The interior finishes match the quality of the of architecture by being understated but luxurious.
