The project involved the complete remodeling and extension of a 1930’s ‘McAlpine Style’ house to make it fit for a young family.

The brief was to create a light filled home that was better connected to the southern extensive back garden. The client wanted a house that was sympathetic to its context, retained some of the original 1930’s design features yet was truly modern.
