Private House, Clareville

The existing house was a typical dormer bungalow and the client wanted a remodeling and extension which would open up the house to the large garden, maximise the amount of daylight entering the kitchen and create an open-plan living space.

The response was a zinc clad dynamic element which juxtaposes with the existing house both in terms of materiality and style and create a dramatic sculptural intervention.
